JBoss AS7 – Revolution continues
The most popular open-source Java EE application server comes in its latest reincarnation as a super fast, super extensible gem of engineering. JBoss AS7 is a fulfillment of a long standing vision of modular, hot-deployable, easily manageable service container, with full component isolation, and parallelism.
With it’s near instant startup, and small memory footprint it can be used for fast iterative web development, but at the same time, thanks to its broad Java EE stack support, it can be used for large scale enterprise applications.
On its way to full Java EE 6 compatibility, it also brings great support for novel development frameworks like CDI – a new approach to composing applications with less code, and more annotations.
